Meet Patrick Gant

Patrick Gant is a writer by trade with over twenty years of experience as a senior communications and marketing advisor.
His client list is a diverse group—from Fortune-500 companies to local design studios, from not-for-profit agencies to government organizations. With an earned reputation as a seasoned, versatile copywriter and editor who has a knack for all things creative, Patrick’s clients call on him regularly to apply his talents to a full range of writing and marketing.
This includes everything from strategic planning, feature articles, news releases and media relations…to video scripts, backgrounders, storyboards, websites, newsletters, brochures and op-ed articles.
Prior to founding thinkit in 2000, he spent nearly a decade helping guide communications in key federal departments, including Solicitor General Canada, Transport Canada, the Privy Council Office, and Human Resources and Social Development Canada. In addition to his copywriting and editing skills, his areas of strategic communications expertise include: science and technology, national security, health, labour market training, transportation, First Nations and citizen engagement.
Fluently bilingual (French and English), Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Political Science) from Carleton University.
