Apple & TBWA\Chiat\Day’s “Switch” campaign

When Apple Computer and TBWA\Chiat\Day called on Patrick Gant, the owner of
thinkit creative, to be part of a new campaign, they were looking for someone who could tell a compelling story. There was no script. Just sincerity captured from a conversation that began with “So tell us why you switched to a Mac.” The result was a worldwide TV, print and billboard “Switch” campaign, featuring people just speaking from the heart.
Heck, my ad even inspired a cartoon.*
