Aboriginal telecom provider launches innovative new program to benefit First Nations, rural communities and charities across Canada
OTTAWA — First Nations, rural communities and charities across Canada are poised to significantly benefit from a visionary new community-outreach program, launched today by First National Tel — Canada’s new Aboriginal-owned and world-leading telecommunications service provider.

Canada-Mexico letters of intent welcomed as tools to promote dialogue and co-operation
OTTAWA — Canadian and Mexican government officials today signed two letters of intent that will serve as an important cooperative policy tool to link the two countries. The first letter of intent will provide a framework within which Canada and Mexico will work together to promote dialogue, information sharing, and approaches to human and social development. Under the second letter of intent, Canada and Mexico will propose measures to extend the existing Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program.
